Any one can help please ?? I have the SE version of this and it is not resonant at the highest frets and there is less sustain in the highest frets as well. Did anybody experience the same problem with the expensive ones ?

Just ordered my Macon. Pat Eggle was a pleasure to deal with. Now I just need to be patient for a few months, not my strong point!

I have a PRS Custom 22 artist & wood library edition a CE24 and a Hollowbody PRS. I thought they were great guitars until I bought a Patrick James Eggle Drop Top 96. That is the greatest guitar I've ever owned/played. Just looks amazing, plays beautifully, and sounds amazing. The PRS are lifeless and sterile by comparison. The PRS are now for sale. The PJE will have to be prised from my dead hands.

Funny when I bought and played my early 90's PRS C24 - there were no S2s or SEs- Just Pure PRS and Carlos .

I had that same 93 PRS C24 whale blue/tobacco trim but mine didn't sound quite that good, must have been the AMP ? Thanks Simon !!

I had this same gitfiddle in the 90s- loved it. (PRS ten top faded whale blue w/tobacco trim) At the time most folk never heard of them, with my ENGL Savage 120 . Many a roof has gone missing! your welcome!
